The Body Shop Packaging Return & Refill Campaign

At the Bulachauri Green Center, with the support of the European Union and the initiative of CENN, a 7-day green camp – “Circularity” was held within the framework of the project “Circular Cities and Regions in Georgia.” The aim of the camp was to raise awareness among young people about the circular economy and waste management, while equipping them with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The program included interactive sessions and trainings, discussions on climate change and planetary boundaries, as well as study visits to companies where circular practices have already been successfully implemented (CAMPA, Fabrika). In addition, participants engaged in group work, campaign-planning workshops, and creative activities, which gave the camp both an educational and inspiring character.

The camp brought together young people aged 15–29 from Kakheti and Adjara, whose creativity and commitment clearly demonstrated the central role of youth in driving environmental change. The environmental campaign ideas developed by the participants included problem identification, defining target audiences, and designing communication messages and strategies. The camp concluded with the presentation of these youth-led projects, followed by the awarding of certificates to all participants. The knowledge and experience gained will help them become leaders in their communities, advancing the practical implementation of circular economy principles and promoting environmental awareness.
